Frankenstein activities

WRITER
Frankenstein is a novel written by Mary Shelley (30 August 1797 – 1 February 1851). Shelley started writing the story when she was 18 and the novel was published when she was 20. The first edition was published anonymously in London in 1818. Shelley's name appears on the second edition, published in France. The title of the novel refers to a scientist, Victor Frankenstein, who learns how to create life and creates a being in the likeness of man, but larger than average and more powerful.

SUMMARY
Victor Frankenstein learns how to create life and creates a being in the likeness of man, but larger than average and more powerful, called Frankenstein. Frankenstein discovers that he is an experiment and decided to behave like a monster. Frankenstein asks the owner who creates a girl like him, in exchange, he won't do more damage and disappear from your life. Victor, but, does not fulfill his promise for fear of creating another monster and began a persecution to each other to death. In the North Pole, Victor dies of illness and the monster commits suicide.


THE CHARACTERS
Victor Frankenstein: He is the creator of monster Frankenstein and is one of the main characters of the story.
Frankenstein: He is the main character of the story.
Elisabeth: Is the girlfriend of Victor Frankenstein.
